I bet ya there is Q of folks begging her to take their money
Indeed it is. A year ago I was paying 950£ a month for an en-suite in Mile End. Proper shithole, rats in the kitchen, smell from mould all over the house. They even had the audacity to raise the rent after I left 😂
Is she included in the price? That would explain a lot
Im not familiar with the area? Is it very rich or is the posting completely wild (or both)
Pretty standard in London tbh. Also not bad considering it’s bills Inc and SW postal code area…
Honestly there should be a rebellion to stop the hoard.
This is all because it’s too easy and safe for the rich to speculate on residential property.
There should be rolling yearly tax on extra property ownership.
It’s bad for the country too! That capital could’ve been used to finance British companies instead!
Tbh I don’t think this is even top 10 wildest that I’ve seen. I rented a room before and people were fighting over it, I just didn’t want to charge more than what I thought was the fair share split between us.
One sketchy character was offering cash and offering to pay double deposit and extra on top “towards the bills”.
I actually declined and he got angry – I had to block him. I felt bad, but it just didn’t feel right at the time.
Soz guy.
Is the teddy bear included ?
I rented a very decent room in a penthouse-style apartment in Wapping for £800 a month about 10 years ago and I thought that was disgusting money.
It’s mad… but you don’t have to live in London. Say that to yourselves occasionally. It’s not mandated.
*I hate London, I am moving up north*
This is the rest of the place. You can get slightly cheaper in the area.
That’s insane. I pay £200 a month more for a one bedroom flat in Shadwell.
Why are people paying this much? Is the salary/life in London really worth paying 4 figures to live in a shoebox? Madness.
I viewed a room in Maida Vale, double room but tiny, no wardrobe only some shelves, in a family home (so mum dad eight year old boy), they had another lodger and two grown up children who might occasionally visit. It was £850 which I thought was outrageous for a lodger room, especially with that many people in the house, but it was Maida Vale.
£1175 for a single room is actually insane.
Bills included. Perfect for bitcoin mining 😂
Parsons Green is lovely. This easily makes sense.
I wouldn’t do it, but someone will.
Your house was very small
