Princess Eugenie is continuing a fashionable month of June in a polarizing trend—a peplum top—at a fundraising gala in London.
Fresh off of Royal Ascot the week before and a trip to Switzerland for work after that, on June 25 Eugenie wore white on white to Tate Modern’s 25th anniversary gala, which she paired with nude mules by Staud and a Chanel bag.

Eugenie, it seems, is “dramatically switching up her style,” according to The Daily Mail, and chose to wear Self-Portrait on Wednesday, a brand also loved and worn frequently by Kate Middleton. (Meghan Markle and Eugenie’s older sister Princess Beatrice are also fans.) She also added Sophie Lis’s mushroom earrings and a long chain gold necklace to complete the look.

At Ascot, Eugenie wore another two-piece look on June 20—a cropped coffee-toned top and a high-waisted white skirt. She also wore a bold chili red ensemble on the final day of the iconic British horse race on June 21. After Ascot concluded last Saturday, Town & Country reported she jetted off to Switzerland to attend Art Basel there, and was back in the U.K. by Wednesday night’s soiree.

Part of Eugenie’s busy season as of late has extended beyond fashion and includes becoming a mentor for The King’s Foundation’s 35 Under 35 network of changemakers, of which Eugenie said (via Hello!), “I’m delighted to be working with this group of exceptional young people who have been selected thanks to their outstanding work in the areas the King is passionate about.”
“Given I recently celebrated my 35th birthday, it’s fitting to take part in the charity’s 35th anniversary celebrations and share my passion for art with the 35 Under 35,” she continued. (Eugenie’s day job is as a director at London art gallery Hauser & Wirth.)

Under the future reign of her cousin Prince William, it is rumored that Eugenie and Beatrice will be tapped to become more involved in the Firm, even though both have full-time jobs and families outside of working for the royal family. Eugenie clarified in an interview with The Telegraph that she is happy with where her life is now, telling the outlet, “I think I’ve got a good balance.”
Of Jack Brooksbank, she added, “I’ve got an amazing husband and team and projects I’m passionate about. I’d feel uneasy if I wasn’t doing my charity work, looking after my family, and doing my job. I love what I do.”
