Honestly, fietsstraten are not always good, not even for bycicle riders. I for example go quite fast in 1 neighbourhood in which a lot of elder people come cycling. Result : in a small one-way street, I have to keep behind a car (can’t pass) that has to keep behind an olderly couple that hasn’t yet electical bikes… Excruciatingly annoying !
Ah yes, because a pot of red paint is much cheaper than a halfway decent traffic policy and road design. Just use cyclists as speed bumps.
