Man I know times have changed and music has changed with it, but festival line-ups just feel a little shite these days, at least this does. Reading/Leeds is even worse.
The 1975 did a fantastic job last night. Excellent musicianship, fun songs and overall a great watch/listen.
Looking forward to what today has in store!
Didn’t really want to go but was gifted a Sunday ticket so 🤷🏻♂️ wouldn’t have bothered myself but here we are.
Hoping Deftones get some airtime on the iPlayer 🤘
I’m going to watch Shrek The Musical at the theatre tonight instead.
Beth Gibbons, Prodigy, English teacher, Amyl plus some old school Selecter and Gary Numan.
I’d be a happy hippy today.
Plus the other stages are not even getting a look in here.
Incredible lineup.
The 1975 were awful. Really not headliner material. The lead singer was absolutely battered too!
Meh.
I’ll stick to download
Well, it’s finally happened. I’ve reached the age where I have heard of fewer acts than I have heard of

Watched a bit of lordes set yesterday and she was miming. What’s the point
I still live in hope of one day the Glastonbury ticket powers granting me a ticket *sighs*
Quite a few good sets yesterday. English Teacher were brilliant, as was Alanis.
But the best things at Glastonbury happen away from the cameras. Saw Taskmaster live on stage with Basil Brush as a contestant and Jarvis Cocker DJing in Greenpeace unannounced.
I watched a bit of The 1975 last night and every song sounded exactly the same…
I hope Olivia Rodrigo is recorded on iPlayer as it starts too late for my daughter to watch it.
Leftfield playing today – get on it you cunts
What a snoozefest
Feels like download festival has the best lineups nowadays. Never in a million years did I think the Vengaboys would be packing a tent out and McFly would be playing Metallica covers there but here we are.
Not sure what’s happened to Leeds and Reading in recent years, they seem to have lost their edge and turned into what V Fesitval used to be in terms of artists
This Glastonbury lineup looks like typical Glastonbury to me tbf, whiplash between every possible genre and artist of the moment
Shed seven did a great show in the afternoon. Thought Lourde was good too. Hard not to smile at capaldi, even though he’s not my kind of music… as for the line up… Glastonbury is so much more than the big acts… everyone there will have a blast and find bands/acts that will change their lives. I went four times in the 90s and went to the pyramid twice (jamiroquai and plant & page) … The best stuff is usually well away from the main stage
Neil Young headlining… Is that why suddenly I’ve had Neil Young all over my Spotify Discover Weekly playlist this week…
Alanis Morisette seemed to sing about 15% of each song, getting the crowd to do most of the work. That’s a personal pet peeve of mine, if I’m buying a ticket to go see someone it is because I paid to see and hear them, not the people around me.
Rod Stewart? Really?
Best they could do was rolling out your right wing grandad in a bad wig?
Also English Teacher are shit. Seen them live and walked out half way through. Lead singer has zero charisma, and they are very much one of those “overhyped by the establishment” bands
I love this time of year. Listen to some glastonbury playlists in May and June and learn about loads of new artists. Hadn’t heard of half of the line up a few months ago and now I’ve found some gems. Particularly looking forward to Bob vylan and amyl today
Does anyone else hate all the flags blocking the view?
I live 8 miles away from the site, I’m grateful for the money it brings to the local area, the benefit is absolutely worth a few days of traffic and tourists everywhere. If your attending this year, enjoy and have a good time
How long did the lad from The 1975 manage to make his pint of Guinness last? Saw him come on with half a pint of it and despite falling all over the shop for the first few songs he didn’t actually glug any.
The girl in the tracksuit last night (didn’t catch the name) was one of the worst things I’ve seen at Glastonbury; specifically the monologue she delivered to music. Nothing worse than life lessons from someone who has no reason to be giving them

The lineup is pretty poor tbh

To everyone moaning about the lineup, I’d like to point you towards [this clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DlTexEXxLQ)
