  1. Funny enough US tech one is also made in china.

    common EU W

  2. So the useful caps and a lot of free time, is our deal? I take it.

  3. I hate that they also have to put those caps on yogurt bottles…

  4. Why do people focus so much on these bloody caps and forget the most important thing the EU has ever delivered – no roaming charges within EU/EEA borders.

  5. US tech is a bunch of fake promises for products that don’t work. They say revolution is coming, but never deliver, meenwhile the European cap does as advertised, and we’ve been carrys the tech industry since the 1600s or even sooner depending on how you look at it, cars, Internet, computers, microscope, telephone all major inventions of the modern day came form Europe we can rest for now

  6. Another day, another European win.

It’s too easy at this point.

Even Portugal (a failed state by european standards) looks like paradise when compared to these savages.

  7. Genuine question, what is the point of humanoid robots ?

  8. My whole life I’ve seen concepts of robots for personal use. I’m 43 years old. To this day it’s still a thing that can do a couple of chores in a mediocre way at best.

I’m starting to think that these concepts are tricks of universities to lure in engineering students.

  9. Two things are private sector outputs. One is a public policy.

US congress hasn’t passed any significant policy in ages. EU, even in its non-federalised form, is able to create actual change through the democratic process.

  10. Having a Dutch manager must be even more annoying than speaking to a Brummie.

  11. Maybe US and China innovate more (we should study that) but at least we’re not getting bankrupt if we break a leg bone

  12. You can already buy household robots made in Germany btw

  13. Man I love being European, I work for an American company, my colleagues in the US earn more, but I love having my 30 days of annual leave plus Bank holidays, also, it’s nice not being Bankrupt because last year I broke a bone and I needed medical care

  14. I don’t care if we’re not at the forefront of everything. Sometimes I feel like we’re the only continent that cares about actually fucking enjoying our lives.

  15. In China you can take just as many days off as a European… once you’ve put in 20 years of graft.

    > China observes seven national holidays, including New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, and National Day, totaling approximately **13 days off annually**.

    > Employees who have worked continuously for more than 12 months are entitled to paid annual leave.
    >
    > The duration of annual leave is based on cumulative years of work:
    >
    > 1–10 years of service: 5 days of paid annual leave.
    > 11–19 years of service: 10 days of paid annual leave.
    > Over 20 years of service: 15 days of paid annual leave
