Traffic restrictions in central Rīga during pride march / Article

The Rīga Pride 2025 parade will take place from 13:00 along the following route: Vērmanes dārzs – Tērbatas iela – Stabu iela – Brīvības iela – Elizabetes iela – Vērmanes dārzs, ending with an event in Vērmanes dārzs.

On Saturday, 28 June, from approximately 13:00 to 14:00, in accordance with the instructions of the State Police, public transport will be temporarily diverted via detours. More information about changes to public transport routes is available here.

On Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00, vehicle traffic will be closed:

Tērbatas Street from Merķeļa Street to Bruņinieku Street;
Brīvības Street from Elizabetes Street to Bruņinieku Street, except for public transport;
Elizabetes Street from Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street, except for public transport;
Dzirnavu Street from Brīvības Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street;
Blaumaņa Street from Brīvības Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street;
Lāčplēša Street from Baznīcas Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street;
Ģertrūdes Street from Baznīcas Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street;
Akas Street from Ģertrūdes Street to Tērbatas Street;
Martas Street from Tērbatas Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street;
Stabu Street from Baznīcas Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street.

From Friday, 27 June, at 18:00 until Saturday, 28 June, at 18:00, stopping and parking will be prohibited on both sides of Tērbatas Street, from Merķeļa Street to Elizabetes Street.

From 8 p.m. on Friday until 6 p.m. on Saturday, stopping and parking will be prohibited on:

Both sides of Tērbatas Street between Merķeļa Street and Stabu Street;
On both sides of Elizabetes Street between Brīvības Street and Tērbatas Street;
On the left side of Elizabetes Street, on a 50-metre section between Tērbatas Street and Krišjāņa Barona Street;
Both sides of Brīvības Street between Elizabetes Street and Stabu Street;
Both sides of Stabu Street between Brīvības Street and Tērbatas Street.

On Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Vērmanes Garden will be closed to pedestrians, except for event participants.
