Meghan Markle made an awkward mistake following a meeting with Prince Andrew, as revealed by Prince Harry, who shared that she asked a puzzling question about him.
In the early stages of their relationship, Harry introduced Meghan to his Royal relatives, including King Charles, Prince William, and Kate.
However, her most significant meeting was with her now-husband’s late grandmother, the Queen, which apparently left her perplexed.

According to the Channel 5 documentary, The Battle For Royal Lodge – Andrew vs Charles, experts recount the story as told in Harry’s memoir.
In the memoir, Harry recalls Meghan’s first meeting with his late grandmother at his Uncle Andrew’s residence, Royal Lodge, which he shares with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
Ferguson had to teach Meghan how to curtsy at the last minute.
After the gathering, Harry revealed that Meghan asked a telling question about his uncle, even wondering if he might not be a relative, reports the Mirror.
Describing how the Queen got up to leave after chatting with Meghan, Harry wrote: “My uncle Andrew, seated beside her, holding her handbag, began to escort her out.
“After a moment Meg asked me something about the Queen’s assistant. I asked who she was talking about.”
When she replied “the man who walked her to the door,” the prince realized she had meant the Queen’s second son.
Andrew has withdrawn from public life following a disastrous BBC Newsnight interview that delved into his ties with the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
In the aftermath, he was also relieved of his military titles and Royal patronages by the late Queen’s consent.
Currently, Andrew is said to be embroiled in a tense standoff with his brother, King Charles, over his occupancy at the 30-room Royal Lodge near Windsor Castle, which requires significant renovation work.
Despite reportedly being urged by the King to downsize into Frogmore Cottage—a four-bedroom residence recently inhabited by Prince Harry and Meghan—which would be more practical, Andrew has reportedly remained defiant, insisting on staying and claiming he’ll cover the massive £2million refurbishment costs himself.
