A tiny beer of 0,2L would cost 10 of those coins back in 1965.

There was this grocery store (Greislerei) near out school where they sold single candies for one of these.
We mostly used them to play. Like they were so light you could make them float on water if you placed them carefully.
They always ended up in a jar at home that once a year was brought to the bank.
