We saw this same crew up at Gordon Castle. My daughter has never seen a joust before. She’s still talking about it weeks later!
My mum and aunts were at this today hahah.
I saw them at Traquair. They were great fun. Definitely the sort of event I want to attend again.
Gutted I never went to this. Only found out about it Friday night, and can’t go tomorrow either. This needs to be advertized more in advance, posters everywhere, like with Billy Smart’s Circus. The price might put some folk off tho, but it’s understandable why it’s kinda high. A special event, for sure.
What was the medieval village bit like? I’ve got to an age where I don’t give a fuck, and woulda went in full merchant-adventurer cosplay (if I’d, like, made the clothes for it yet). I’m sorry I let down all my fans by not appearing. But was the village good, or mainly just old-style stalls? (which is fine too).
I think they have one on in a week or so at another place
