  7. I don’t get why this band gets so much support over their recent actions.

    Like they’ve literally said “the only good Tory MP is a dead one. Kill your local MP” when we’ve already had 2 MPs murdered in the past decade.

    They’ve appeared on stages covered in Hezbollah flags whilst chanting “up Hamas, up Hezbollah”, posted images on social media reading Hassan Nasrallah’s book, and when called out on this they claim it’s been taken out of context, they have never supported Hezbollah, and it’s a smear campaign because they support Palestine.

    Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. If you’re going to commit to it then actually commit to it, don’t market yourself as this massive anti-establishment punk group then backtrack when you get caught.

    Personally feel that regardless of whether you agree with them or not, they had become a massive topic of conversation, you might as well give people a chance to watch and judge for themselves this issue. Cutting them off does not serve any purpose as at this point I’d wager 90% of the people going in are familiar with the subject, no one has changed their mind or radicalised as a result of this performance.

    Also kind of highlights an issue that it seems a lot of coverage of Glasto by BBC et al wants it to be a very neutral pleasant family friendly experience when at its core it’s still a political/cultural event which doesn’t mind bothering people.

  12. Honesty am I the only one completely checked out of the whole Israel/Palestine situation?. The Free Palestine crowd have spent almost 2 years screaming at the UK and US to stop supporting Israel and its fallen on deaf ears. If this keep up then say hello to Prime Minister Nigel Farage (I mean the Free Palestine crowd heavily contributed to Kamala Harris losing the US election last year, i bet you the same thing will happen here)
