Hapoel Tel Aviv has strengthened its frontcourt with the signing of American center Tai Odiase to a two-year contract.
Tai Odiase arrives with solid experience in European competitions and a reputation as a mobile, rim-protecting presence. Odiase spent last season with Bahcesehir in Turkey, averaging 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 blocks per game.
A product of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Odiase has steadily built his career across Europe, with previous stints in Germany, Greece, Spain, and Turkey.
Known for his shot-blocking instincts and energy on both ends of the floor, he’s expected to bring physicality and defensive toughness to Hapoel‘s frontcourt rotation.
Odiase’s signing is part of a broader roster overhaul for Hapoel Tel Aviv, as the club looks to bounce back stronger in the Israeli league and continental competitions following a demanding 2024/2025 season.
