Moving districts for this coming year, and luckily got a head start. This was over a 6-week period from May-mid June.

Slide 1 shows the total applications I put out there to 4 different districts, including one district that uses a pool from which individual schools can call you. This is why the number of interviews is slightly off from the number of applications.

Slide 2 is specifically the data from my #1 choice district that I finally found the right fit!

  1. I got the data from my EdJoin account, and used SankeyMatic to make the visuals

  2. This is the first time I’ve seen someone on this sub done only 17 applications in job hunt

  3. I think i need to part time as a teacher instead of a cashier

  4. How did you have 21 applications but 24 interview invites + no responses?

  5. Th teacher shortage is real! Too bad that the shortage has been making teaching requirements go down instead of pay going up. We have so many subjects filled by long term subs and staff on provisional licenses who never actually get a standard license.

May I ask your grade/subject area?
