Day 214 and still going. Georgians are showing the kind of democratic spine most of the world forgot existed. A small country standing up to oligarchy, disinformation, and creeping authoritarianism while demanding a European future. This deserves way more attention than it’s getting.

In my country, where we have shot our dictators, we have a saying: “the dogs are barking but the bear keeps walking”.
Serbian, Georgian, Hungarian type of dictators don’t care if you stay a day, 100 or 10 years in the streets as long as their life-style stays unchanged and there’s no threat to them.
