Neither of the sequels can capture the spark the original had. They’re trying too hard to turn it into a franchise. I was severely disappointed with this movie, and someone I knew even walked out on it.
That ending though 🥸
Hell yeah. Loved it can’t wait until The Bone Temple.
Lots of grumbling from people that wanted a sequel to 28 Weeks Later but got a sequel that was more similar to 28 Days Later…I get why some were disappointed but I was personally pleased it wasn’t strictly an action horror.
I loved every single moment of this movie. Can’t wait to explore the world some more.
Movie absolutely sucked
Beginning was great, middle was half decent, end was okayish.
I’d watch a 4th one.
I loved it, and I can’t figure out why people didn’t like it. Maybe it wasn’t avengers enough? Or the symbolism and depth of character development is lost on them? Idk, I am going to see it again tomorrow. Hope they make another one soon.
It was great but the ending made me worried
Let’s go!! I grew up with this movie and everyone in my family waited for the sequels for so long. I’m glad it’s doing well and hope we get the full trilogy
It was meh. It would have been nice to know it was the first of a trilogy before going in cause too many threads either went nowhere or came from nowhere. I heard someone snoring at one point
The acting and most of the writing and scenes were all great but it just didnt feel solid. A movie shouldnt need its other parts to be a solid story. A solid story doesnt need to be a whole story but it shouldnt have parts that are totally meaningless until you see the next one.
Weird ending but rest of movie was sick
I watched the trailer for this movie so many times because of the intensity Boots poem and I was incredibly happy that it was included in the film

this was one of the worst movies ive seen in years
I will say I did watch a bootleg copy but will rewatch it when on digital
With that said, it was like a looong art house movie music video.
I did not enjoy it.
Did they film two back to back? I can’t remember what I read
I didn’t even know it was out yet
Maybe it was my expectations that were set from the trailers, but it didn’t feel like a journey. Just didn’t feel like a satisfying hike through infected and dealing with fucked up people. Definitely gonna see the second one though to see how it all comes together and I’m sure maybe if it ties it together nicely I’ll end up enjoying 28 years more.
It was really good until the tracksuit Targaryen gang scene. It was random as hell.
I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of the movie… the last 1/3 was ok but felt like it was from a different universe. Fine as part of a standalone film and had something to say, but just didn’t feel like it fit in the world of the first 2.5 movies… and then the very end was a bit too far gone. I’ll likely see the next one but won’t take it as seriously
dong of the dead
If you’re expecting this to resemble the first or even the second movie you’re going to be disappointed
Are we serious? Other than Danny Boyle’s style it was garbage
People get way too bored with world building; I adored it.
Why are the zombies still alive after 28 years?
It was a fun revisit to the universe of 28 Days, weeks, years later. I enjoy the movie and its characters and intro to new characters

Great film, hope it makes double that.

Why do people care how much movies make?
