Very short extracts:
>Temperatures of up to 35 degrees are expected over the next few days, and danger level 3 applies to large parts of Switzerland.
>Observe heat warnings
Find out about heat warnings from [MeteoSwiss](https://www.meteoschweiz.admin.ch/#tab=forecast-map) and [AlertSwiss](https://www.alert.swiss/).
>__What measures does the federal government recommend?__ First and foremost, you should protect yourself from the sun’s rays, as Marco Stoll from MeteoSwiss says. So don’t go out in the sun unnecessarily during the day. You should dress (including covering your head), seek shade and generally cool your body. This can also be a cool shower in the morning or a dip in a river or lake. You should drink as much as possible – unsweetened, non-alcoholic drinks.
>You should also keep your home cool. Intense sporting activities should be avoided if possible or postponed to the cooler off-peak hours. And: you should also pay attention to your fellow human beings.
Oh no! run, the Sun monster!!!
Even last week the heat has been crazy.
As someone in a mostly white collar job(mediamatician at Kanton Bern) where i mostly make videos and sometimes videos about street/building projects i really have tremendous respect for all the blue collar people out there working.
Last week i was filming Tunnel repairs druing the night and had to wear safety clothes. They were insanely hot, and even in the morning hours it’s already hot.
But the workers act like it’s no big deal, while i am here melting in my office(no AC).
Heart goes out to all of them!

Just love going to a non air conditioned office. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
I’ll definitely be enjoying my time in my 30°C apartment wheeeee /s
hate it here
Good luck Militär people
I hate these… Its so patronizing. Everyone knows these things, its a waste of time and money.
Oh i have to stay in the shade and drink water? The more you know…
If you have AC at home, get in your AC car and get to your office where again AC is running at full blast, you won’t even know about except from reddit. My advice is to get out and enjoy the sun and summer as long as it last. Just a tiny little bit.
Exam weeks at uni… studying isn’t really possible, takes me more than 5L of water a day… plus a lot of coffee and energy drinks…
According to the graphic it’s the third highest danger level.
“danger level” stfu
die erhebliche Hitzegefahr ist erheblich bis gross

Drink more water and stay in the shade or AC-ed space if you have the luxury, or even a fan would help. There are countries with higher temps, this is not that serious 💛
If you want something portable but regular fans ain’t helping much, check out more powerful models like jisulife, or get a manual/handheld fan. Hydrate yourself- your body cools through sweating, no sweating=no cooling. For apt- blinds, ideally split unit ac or portable split unit ac or at least several fans pointed at a bucket with cold water/ice
Geili sach us khüdermaah arbeite und nimau Getränk vor Bude z becho i dem Wetter 💀
Imagine you need to do a WK like me 🫠🫠
Is the advice for dealing with this and future heatwaves that everyone move to the affordable new Minergie buildings that aren’t getting built, instead of buying AC’s? 🤡
I love how they provide “protection advice” and don’t turn on the air conditioning in the tram that has very good air conditioning.
I’m doing OK outside & when I hop onto the crowded tram or bus that’s sweltering and with stifled air, it just kills me.
