Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:  Volatility continues at D Street, as after attempting to recover, the indices have slipped further into the red. The Nifty Index declined by over 130 points, falling below the 25,500 mark. The Sensex also declined by a major 450 points.

The shares of Cartrade Tech and Narayana Health rose by over 6%

The shares of JB Chemicals, Torrent Pharma, and Jyoti CNC were in focus after large trade. In addition, the PSU banking stocks, along with pharma stocks, have started the day on a positive note.

When we look at the broader markets, the small-cap and midcap indices faired better that the benchmark indices, trading with gains of under 0.50%

Alembic Pharma shares surged by over 13% due to US FDA approval for an injectable drug. In addition, the shares of Karnataka Bank declined by over 8% after the resignation of the bank’s MD & CEO.
