1. Anyone that remembers the Clinton & Obama years vs Bush & Trump knows this is accurate. Republicans talk a big game and beat their chests but ultimately never deliver. Meanwhile Democrats succeed in incremental improvements that are never satisfying enough to leave an impression with voters.

   Basically voters rather gamble everything on Red than have moderate improvements.

10. The stock market performance statistic has been disputed at length, this statistics used in this graphic is by far the most embellished I’ve seen. Most charts and tables I’ve seen the split of stock market growth as evidenced by the sp500 is a difference of 25-50bps annualized depending on which source you trust…not 1500%

13. Consider that much of the Dem results are *after* Repubs have fucked everything up, and much of the Repub results are *after* Dems have fixed much of their mess and renewed the foundations for future prosperity.

    Republicans give the next Democrat administration chaos and stagnation. Democrats fix that—despite Republican sabotage—and give the next Republican admin order and prosperity.

17. It really was infuriating to see the exit polls from the last presidential election and to see how many republican voters gave the economy as their main reason for voting for Trump. For him to win they way he did, it just proves how dumb our country really is.

    We need a litmus test for people who just aren’t dealing with objective reality. There needs to be a point where people who have lost the plot just shouldn’t have a seat at the table with the rest of the adults.

    I would say that, regardless of what Party has done better with the economy, keep in mind there is always a lag behind each parties presidency to the tune of a year or two.

    I would also mention that Republicans are normally the ones that try to right the ship and when that happens, there is always some economic pain associated with that.
