  1. Don‘t leave us hanging! Why are there so many?

  2. It’s a busy weekend for them. So many things to steal.

  3. Im just an ignorant American, what’s a scouser? They look nice in the picture provided.

  4. If the BBC’s other previous story about county lines and the drug and gang situation in Liverpool was anything to go by…

  5. That’s proof it’s over. When you get the Aintree Scouse birds going. It’s gone!

  6. The Irish DJ on BBC 6 Music felt it was important to have a half hour conversation with 2 Irish acts about the Irish experience of Glastonbury too as if it’s different.

    Was riveting (!)

  7. They look really cool especially the one on far left

  8. It’s not like they have jobs to go to after all

  9. Back in the day (mid-90s) they would be looking to trade their wares and provide illegal access via multiple ladders that they had managed to travel with. It’s all gone off the boil since then…. The BBC ruined it for everyone – ‘Glyndebourne with wellies etc’…

  10. I Know the answer to this as I worked security there a few years ago.

Scousers made up a vast amount of people using fake tickets and attempts to get into the festival without paying.

Southern/Londoners were mostly attempting to bring drugs/illegal substances in – for example stopping two lads coming in with two flight cases FULL with Nos canisters (I know, not drugs, but a stand out example).

  11. But it’s true though!!!! I asked a scouser this last time I went, his theory was that it’s just that the accent is so recognisable so it appears there’s more. But honestly, it does sometimes feel like you’re surrounded by scousers lol.

  12. Remember when the news just reported the facts and sensationalism was a thing of tabloids?

  13. Because if you look at a map of UK cities Liverpool is on the far left

  14. I was at Glastonbury a few years ago and noticed this, but I think they are generally just louder and their accent cuts through so it makes it seem like there are more of them.

  15. What are those? People who don’t say excuse me! When they pass? Or say it in a rude way like it’s your fault you got in their way while they pass by you?

  16. Because of the veritable smorgasbord of unattended personal possessions 😂

  17. They probably spoke to a dozen people who were all part of the same group, then incorrectly extrapolated that out to “everyone”
