  1. Don’t you have to devalue your currency to become a major exporter though? Or is that an oversimplification. I seem to recall reading China and Japan purposefully devalue their currencies

  2. And this is one of the main reasons the stock market is “up” versus earlier in the year. It’s cheap for foreign money.

  3. It’ll go down more after rate cuts. Somehow the rupee is still weak against the dollar.

  4. there are several possible reasons for the dollar’s decline but I think the majors factors affecting the US are: uncontrolled debt and deficits and without doubt a political uncertainty….
