San Marino ready to join the European Union in 2023? (Article from December 2021)

  1. To be fair not much would really change, they already have custom agreements with the EU, use the Euro and Schengen is kinda pointless since there has never been an actual border control between Italy and San Marino, plus there is no airport.

    It would be interesting as that they would be the most disproportionately representated country in the EU parliament and also probably have the smallest number number of representatives at the same time.
