The proudest Turkish nationalists operate rotating meat skewers in Friedrichshain
Vote left in Germany, vote far right in [insert home country]
How Turkish immigrants feel like voting for the Greens in Germany and Erdogan at the same time:
“The thing is that we all know which immigrants we are talking about”… said every “good mmigrant” ever.
Who wants to migrate to the Balkans ?
They are right though.
It’s not *that* outrageous or weird. Most of Balkan immigrants don’t want *more* immigration, especially from…ehr, “other places”, and gamble with being treated as the “good ones” as they’re already established…which is quite a gamble, but hey. OTOH, the “you’re all immigrants so you should like and support each other” thing that the left implies (or outright says) is arguably *more* xenophobic than most of the stuff that coms from the right.
Plus, a lot of them are also socially conservative and at least somewhat religious, AND with more or less the same religious direction as the European far right, or at least one which the far right acts like tolerating for the time being (which is to say: non Muslim). AND they often have a, let’s say, “reserved” opinion of the state order and order in general (“f*ck the state” *is* a common curse in the Balkans after all).
That the left wing assumed that these people will be automatically on their side forever is absolutely baffling to me.
What about British immigrants in EU who supported/voted for Brexit?
This idea that migrants owe the left blind support has always been stupid.
You now know how it is to be ruled by Karaboga
I know a guy who is from Ukraine, yet simultaneously considers himself a communist (or at least used to), supports Russia, lives and studies in Germany and not just votes for AfD, he literally became a party member. And it’s not like he told me this, I just randomly learned each fact about him over time, and at some point just realized how hilarious this combination is
we have them here in canuck land too, you’ll get Belgians talking about how they “don’t want immigrants because they dilute the (white) culture” …. whilst literally being an immigrant from a different culture.
It’s WILD the mental gymnastics they use to justify it.
If you haven’t set foot in the country you have a passport from for more than 2 weeks at a time for years then you shouldn’t be allowed to vote there. How disgraceful, deciding an election that hardly affects you
„But we can stay!“
Too accurate hahah and they work in IT
Ask Balkan in a nutshell
This applies to Portugal too
“People who have seen the effects of immigration first hand don’t want that for their country” isn’t as shocking as you’re making it sound, Hans
How fascists Romanians and Albanians in Italy despite being hated and labeled as thieves in the last 30 years:
If it were up to me, I would kick out every single person out of this country except me, ESPECIALLY including other germans because I am the only person I know is 100% valid actual german and legitimate allowed to live here.
I think if you live abroad for more than a year, have no work in your country or aren’t abroad for an exchange year or smth similar you should not be able to vote in your country even if you have citizenship.
If the balkanoids i know are any meassure, they all cant wait to make germany great again. They’d love that.
