I grew up in the UK where ‘squash’ is a big thing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squash_(drink) – basically it’s cordial/syrup that you dilute with water to make a flavoured drink. Works similarly to cedevita but it’s a liquid not a powder. (ignore the bit about carbonated water on the wiki – I’m after a version that can go with still water).

I know cedevita does a ‘light’ version but it’s still got a ton of calories comparably. In the UK squash comes in ‘no added sugar’ versions or ‘sugar free’ – is there anything like that here?

Edit: I mean drinks that have less than 5kcal per 250ml diluted.

Just put half a small teaspoon of normal Cedevita in 250ml+ glass and you’ll get a flavor, more or less, enough to not be “plain water” (which is like 3-5 times less than the “usual dosage”)?

  2. I remember buying sugar free syrup/squash in Konzum couple of times. Can’t remember exactly the flavour or brand, but I think one was raspberry and other was lemon + elderflower. Generally the sour flavours are better at hiding the taste of artificial sweeteners. Take a look around in Konzum or Kaufland, there should be at least something.
