Addressing all Belarusians, the Head of State noted that they have many plans for life: simple, personal, and important for the whole country. “Graduation parties have been recently held, and the admission campaign has been launched. Our children are getting prepared to take a fateful step into their adulthood, and parents are worried… It is a hot time for agrarians, our villagers are working hard to achieve the result, which will be summed up at the Dazhynki festival. The main task was set to harvest enough to meet the country’s needs and to earn money,” he said.
Favourite Belarusian summer festivals are also just around the corner: as noted by Aleksandr Lukashenko, people from all around the country will gather in Alexandria and Vitebsk, and they will be joined by friends from near and far abroad.
“Who sees other, non-peaceful goals in these plans? We are celebrating Independence Day under a peaceful sky, and we cherish it greatly. We are doing everything possible to pay tribute to the generation of victors who gave us 80 years of this peaceful life. We are doing everything to meet their expectations. Belarus under a peaceful sky is both the goal of our policy and the image of the future we are striving for,” the Head of State stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated everyone on the holiday and wished them happiness, health and well-being, “Take care of yourself! Take care of your families! Take care of our native Belarus, our land! Happy holiday! Happy Independence Day!”
