   The council tax is high

   you need to have have a gardener as the grounds are too big for one person to do

   Inside is too big for one person to keep clean – so you may well need a cleaner

   and it will probably cost a lot to heat

   so it will take loads of money just for keeping it going

   and I have not even mentioned a pool or anything like that!

   Plus the odds are that whoever wins it would have to move away from friends and family to live there

   so most people will visit a few times, have a party there

   then sell it

6. I would have done just this, then with the 4m bought a decent cheap farm in Portugal and gone there live happy and forget Britain exists.

10. In one of the promotional videos for one of these events, they stated you could do exactly this. Why is this news?

    Good for her but I think omaze is a bit dodgy with how they are set up.

12. There was an interview with Omaze in The Guardian a while back they said it’s a pretty even three-way split between people either selling straight away, renting them or moving in. So not sure how this woman has made the news.
