For anyone interested in further reading, [I recommend this genocide report by New Lines Institute](https://newlinesinstitute.org/rules-based-international-order/genocide-in-tigray-serious-breaches-of-international-law-in-the-tigray-conflict-ethiopia-and-paths-to-accountability-2/) and the following book since it focuses on the SGBV aspect of the Tigray genocide specifically, **In Plain Sight: Sexual violence in the Tigray conflict by Rita Kahsay, Rowena Kahsay and Sally Keeble**. For anyone interested in the political and historical background, I recommend reading **Understanding Ethiopia’s Tigray War by Sarah Vaughan and Martin Plaut**.
