    For example, Look at Australia, whose largest trading partner is China, and been for quite some time. Yet Trump expects Australia to deep-six its economy just so he can make headlines?

    He’ll likely chicken out, as usual. Otherwise the retaliatory tariffs will result in some serious inflation in the U.S.

  24. This aims to pressure countries like India and China to stop purchasing oil and other goods from Russia, thereby weakening its war economy and pushing Moscow to negotiate peace in Ukraine. But we got to hate on Trump so let’s ignore that.

  28. This won’t work but I think the idea is on the right track. Russia won’t stop anytime soon if China and India keep buying all there stuff, the west needs to find a way to stop those countries from buying up Russian exports. Opec can increase production and maybe lift Venezuela sanctions, that crude can be used in a Ural refinery with limited changes. It would take time but they could add a few million barrels within a month. Ng would be a problem though, China buys alot of that, not sure there’s a way to get the same volume to China from other sources.

  34. I am getting a little tired of countries profiteering off this war. You may say its hypocritical because western countries are buying Russian goods from countries like India, and you’d be right, so let’s make it more costly to do business with Russia. What’s not to like?
