On Tuesday, Marin Čilić joined Donna Vekić in the second round, and today the Osijek native is aiming for her third consecutive appearance in the third round. Alongside Vekić, Mate Pavić and Ivan Dodig will also take to the court.

The program at Wimbledon kicks off at 12 PM Croatian time, and for Croatian fans, Court 17 will be the one to watch.

The day’s matches on Court 17 begin with last year’s semi-finalists and current world number one doubles team Mate Pavić and Marcelo Arévalo. They will face Roberto Carballés Baena and Laslo Đere, two singles specialists who have already exited the singles competition after losing to Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev respectively.

After the Croatian-Salvadoran pair, Donna Vekić will step onto Court 17 for her second-round match against Cristina Bucșa. The pair met two years ago in Nottingham, where Vekić won 2-1 in sets. Both matches featuring Pavić and Vekić will be broadcast on Sport Klub 1.

In addition to Vekić and Pavić, 40-year-old Ivan Dodig will also compete on the Wimbledon grass today. Alongside his new Grand Slam partner Orlando Luz, he will play on Court 6 against Rafael Matos and Marcelo Melo.

Dodig and Luz reached the quarterfinals in their Grand Slam debut at Roland Garros, and now in London they are hoping for revenge against the Brazilian pair who defeated them in the first round of the ATP 250 tournament in Mallorca. Their match also begins at 12 PM, and it will be broadcast on Sport Klub 2.

Once Dodig’s match ends, coverage shifts to Centre Court, where fans can watch Aryna Sabalenka, Carlos Alcaraz, and the day will close with local star Emma Raducanu facing 2023 Wimbledon champion Markéta Vondroušová.
