Senator Murkowski has said she hopes the House recognizes that the bill “isn’t quite there yet” and makes changes to the things that will screw over Americans. When asked why she would vote for a bill she doesn’t like, she claimed that voting no would have “killed it and it’s gone”. That’s not how that works. If she voted no, they would have just had to keep debating and amending until they had enough votes to pass. So, in reality, she is so afraid of being the reason Trump doesn’t get to sign this monstrosity on the 4th, she was willing to risk the lives of her constituents by sending it over to the House instead of continuing debate

  12. They made exceptions for Alaska regarding the cuts just so she’d vote for it. Someone needs to ask her why Alaskans should be immune to cuts that she thinks should happen in every other state.

  20. Former Alaskan. I use to agree with some of things she did but haven’t in years. Alaskan Natives are the ones that get her elected. Please Alaskan Natives do not give her any more support.
