I think it’s a bit optimistic to claim that all fast food outlets will follow, but nonetheless there’s no harm in more vegan options, like this one.
Unlikely all fast food outlets will follow, you only have see the meagre range of Vegan ready meals the supermarket offer to realise how small the market currently is.
There are fully vegan burger joints dotted around London. This is a good step, but they’re responding to demand and they’re not the first by a long margin
This is a bizarre risk to go full vegan but I hope it works out !
The only thing more processed than a burger King burger is a vegan burger King burger.
Why are you quoting from GB News to add ‘balance’ you cunts, they are just rent a gobs paid to be outraged about anything new in the world.
As long as they keep the actual meat menu/chains then it’s fine. But of they turn fully vegan they’ll lose me and probably many as a customer (not that I eat there much anyway).
I order without the salad/veggies on the burgers as I just can’t eat it. So there’s no way I could do a vegan version.
The future is substitution initially, who’d notice 20% replacement of non meat, apart from the planet.
Its like saying “ford to tests new electric car amid prediction all cars will follow”
This is not even a new thing its been open for a few months now.
Don’t complain about it if you, like most, hate their vegan food. Just eat somewhere else that provides food that doesn’t feel like a punishment to eat. Ethics don’t matter, it will always be profits first so if this isn’t successful it will be used to squash future ideas for such actions.
Cool. Didn’t go to meaty BK, don’t see myself going to vegan BK. Not sure why people are so upset by it.
My nearest BK is almost 10 miles away and I’ve never eaten in there so it’s irrelevant, vegans are a minority and there’s little chance that the rest of us will follow suit, yes I understand where meat comes from, I’ve killed and prepared my own meat before and nothing anyone can say will stop me eating meat.
I wish they made vegan or vegetarian burgers like they do back home in Pakistan
We have this thing called bun kebab, which ranges from meat patty, to lentil patty to potato patty, with or without egg. All freshly made so not processed at all and honestly each one stood out in taste on their own so it never was a question of does x taste better than the meat patty or not. Dead cheap too
I miss them bun kebabs. Have yet to find a burger from a joint that has a decent burger compared to that.
