Brutal. Buddy had no hesitation in offing himself. Also the video begs the question: why was he on his own?
Looks like a bad leg break just above the ankle—being alone, he must have known he was a goner.
Does it look like he has an extra shoe with him?
I’m amazing and depressed by how many of these videos just have lone Russian soldiers wandering around in absolute desolation
Foot-crusher strikes again.
dead on the road — alone…in the rain…in the prime of your life…all for some madman’s ego
I have to say, with these drones, you can be the world’s best operator and some kid can take you out.
Looks Korean?!
That shrapnel pattern/radius was pretty neat
Did he not hear the drone?
I summon you u/false-God !
That was an impressive bomb drop. I’m not sure why from so high, but I assume they have reasons.
Drone warfare is fucked. Seems as though once they get eyes on, you’re as good as dead.
He didn’t want to be there, he didn’t want to fight, he didn’t want to be mocked online, he didn’t want to have his family hear of how he died ‘gloriously’, he didn’t want to give up his life.
But he did in the end, for nothing. His death won’t stop the war, it won’t stop this battle, it won’t even make it into his local paper.
It was all for one man’s ego, and now this man’s story has ended.
Where is false god I’m not sure how to alert him
Weird that the drone is stable when it drops the ordinance, but suddenly can’t even aim the camera. I guess it could be due to weather, a damaged gimbal, or a drone pilot with bulky gloves and sore fingers.
Russians love their guns so much they give them blowjobs.
Why would you walk alone like that in the middle of a road on a warzone ? If you get stranded alone my instinct would be to run to the nearest cover, dig in and wait for the night. These guys are just fucking tired of fighting, no morale, no objective, they just go there to die
I’m always amazed when we see videos of the Russians just ambling along in 1s, 2s and 3s. What is the point to sending these guys out like this? is it viewed as a win win to the higher ups? either they live and report back on the UAF defenses or they get fed to ever hungry eldritch god that is the FPV drone and that means the UAF has one less?
Also has suicide ever been this prevalent in a modern war before? Usually you here of a NATO soldier being wounded, trekking across miles of enemy country back to friendly lines and it gets made into a movie, the Russians just seem to be like, “naw fam, I’m out. Basic first aid? survival training? what’s that? “

on the list so far. I am compiling this footage for documentation purposes because this is not normal for this to happen so frequently, despite what Russia’s supporters tell you.
This list is not intended to celebrate, glorify, encourage, or otherwise make light of suicide.
There are **272** recorded instances of Russian soldiers killing themselves on the battlefield, plus 52 maybe’s, 1 monument, 7 mercy kills, 22 implied/found later and 14 cases of Russians intentionally killing Russians. There are 1 recorded instances of North Korean soldiers killing themselves on the battlefield. We went 1 days since the last confirmed instance at time of this example.
**The list has gotten too long to be a comment, it was on its third comment due to character caps. The list can now be found at this [wiki link](https://www.reddit.com/r/DroneCombat/s/OtVbE1GZnI).**

Clearly the drone blast destroyed his leg so he knew he was gone anyway.
