  1. Sean “Diddy” Combs was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering after a closely followed high-profile federal trial in New York City. He was convicted on two lesser prostitution charges.

    The split verdict was read on Wednesday July 2.

    It marks a major rebuke of prosecutors in the Bad Boy Records who accused the Bad Boy Records founder of using his expansive business empire to facilitate multiple crimes.

  9. I am normally an innocent until proven guilty person but this is an injustice. Diddy is the most guilty person and there is no way he got away on those charges fairly. Can this be appealed?

  11. They said the RICO case was weak quite a while ago. I’m very familiar with sex trafficking laws and I thought those charges were also weak. This was bound to happen. RICO is incredibly difficult to prove. There was no way that it was going to stick.

  26. People shouldn’t be mad at the jury. This is a failure of the prosecutors. I knew once I saw they were trying to do this as RICO it was gonna be trouble. Miscarriage of justice by prosecutors more worried about getting their names in the Attorney Hall of Fame than getting justice for victims and preventing future crimes. this is gonna emboldened more bad men like him to think what they’re doing is okay.

  34. Anyone who followed this case know this was the right verdict. The prosecution put up a stupid ass case. So dumb of them. You have one victim (your star witness) who is still to this day getting her lawyer & rent fees being paid by Diddy & the other victim you have texts of them requesting the activities he’s being charged with.

I mean, the amount of people who took part in said activities, including Cassie, it doesn’t surprise me it was just put to bed, I’d imagine the list of to put it lightly “accomplices” and or “enablers” is pretty long, let alone this opens up a whole big bowl of the wrong stuff that’s still going on in Hollywood and the Music Industry, a lot of people wanted this put to bed, not just that douche Diddy.
