2. I’m not a specialist on war or anything, but isn’t part of the exchange negotiations to not send the soldiers back to the front? Maybe it’s in some war convention or something, but I was kind of sure this was a standard, the countries that exchange POW must release them from duty; they should not use the (now ex-) POW again in the conflict.

   But then again we’re talking about Rossia, they have zero respect for his soldiers, let alone any international convention. Just another probable war crime in Putin’s long list of atrocities. No big deal in the end.
