A visit from the Board of the Language Museum in Latvia

Board members of the Language Museum met researchers from the Section for Baltic Studies during their visit to Stockholm 10-12 June 2025.

Board members of the Language Museum Snorre Karkonens-Svenson, Marta Roķe, Astra Zilberte-Linde and Signe Kazāka recently visited the Section for Baltic Studies and met with PhD students Signe Rirdance and Everita Andronova. The guests presented their activities and got an introduction to the work of the department.

During their visit to Stockholm 10-12 June 2025, the Board representatives met with the Latvian Ambassador to Sweden, Ilze Rūse, and the initiators of the Swedish Language Museum, Patrik Hadenius and Sofia Malmgård. Their visit included the annual Järvaveckan forum in Stockholm. The trip was supported by the Swedish-Latvian Cooperation Fund.
