  1. Honestly my dream for my lifetime is to live to see most farm fields being reclaimed by forest and nature, and the farms being moved into multilevel vertical farms, GMO for crazy high yield. I’m picturing deciduous woodlands as far as the eye can see, birch forests, meadows. A proper right to roam amongst endless temperate woodland and grassland.

    Completely pie in the sky I know but I imagine it would be just stunning. Like something out of Tolkien.

    The New Forest is a good example of what it could look like, even if that’s slightly more moorlandish.

  2. Good news. It would also help with climate change as trees have a natural cooling effect, provide a buffer against flooding, etc.
