I was one of those mothers!😂. Some of those things were great!😂
Still have one me Da gave me.
Yes and for a dinner set and a few other bits and bobs………remember milk tokens and picking it outta the catalogue
O Jesus that’s why every Irish mother has 10 boxes of unopened dinner plates
My family still has ours, well at least it looks exactly like that
I think we still have a closet from these tokens
I’m pretty sure SuperValu still do that or something similar.
The rosewood wine rack was highly coveted I believe, an entire wine rack for 2 bottles of Paul mason 😂
We had the Cornflakes chicken clock
Everyone who did a J1 in the early 2000’s was landing over with the same SuperValu luggage.. the baggage carousel was an absolute nightmare!
Some people remember Green shield stamps.
Yes! Or the black and grey luggage set. Or the towels!
The black pull along suitcase set they had were an absolute pile of shite. The wheels were too close together and they would constantly wobble and tip over.
Centra did this with giant teddy dogs aswell (2 of them I got are still going)
That’s the Archdale coffee table you’ve got there. A fine accompaniment to the Archdale locker, blanket box and monk’s bench that were also popular in the late 90’s
Worked in a supervalu in my teens. There was also a laundry basket item or maybe it was a blanket box for the end of the bed. Either way we used to see if we could fit the smaller lads into them in the store room.
Went out of my way last year to find one of these on Adverts specifically for the room. Quality coffee table. Perfect for putting the feet up on
My mother in law has bought every ‘bargain’ that ever existed in Super Valu. Before that it was Quinnsworth back in the day with dinner services and saucepans.

She’s a marketers dream.
So that’s where they got it!
I’ll pay €100 for one of these. I need it.
Still have the laundry basket in the bathroom
[according to this they flogged 180’000 of them alone](https://www.irishtimes.com/business/loyalty-cards-and-stamps-battle-for-consumers-1.1085665)
I still have the blanket box! I think my parents were glad to be rid of it tbh
