  1. Worse than that. They are more than happy to write the kid off the moment their mother gives birth. They constantly vote against paid maternity leave, health care relief and try to gut WIC. They are pro birth, but it is all about bootstraps after, starting with the exorbitant hospital bill for that birth!

  2. >While debating an amendment to restore a gun rights provision of President Donald Trump’s so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” during a House Rules Committee hearing, Frost called out his Republican colleagues for saying their care about the life of children as a moral issue when it comes to abortion, but not when it comes to gun violence.

    >The amendment, introduced by Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., would eliminate regulations on gun silencers and short-barreled firearms, which gun violence prevention advocates argue would make it easier for such guns to get into the wrong hands. The U.S. Senate removed the amendment before passing it and sent it back to the U.S. House of Representatives. …

    >“They have no problems with more people dying, as long as they can sell more guns,” said the 28-year-old Florida congressman, who accused Republicans and the National Rifle Association of prioritizing the needs of gun manufacturers and not everyday citizens impacted by gun violence.

    >Frost added, “It’s despicable that the gun industry, the gun lobby, wants to push forth amendments like this that would result in more people dying.” …

    >The “right to live” is a phrase often used by conservatives in their opposition to abortion. However, Frost and Democratic Rep. Teresa Leger Hernandez of New Mexico pointed out the contradiction of Republicans’ claims about being “pro-life” as they continue to support gun lobbyists and vote in favor of Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” which experts warn will result in millions losing their health insurance.

    >**“They say they’re pro-life because they want the baby to be born, go to school, and get shot in the school,” said Frost, adding, “die in the school, die on the streets.”**

    >Rules Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., immediately hit her gavel and joined another Republican member to call for Frost’s comments to be stricken from public record.

    >“You are not going to come into this room and impugn our integrity,” said Foxx, adding, “We are pro-life people from conception to natural death…Don’t you dare come up in here and say we want to preserve life so we can get shot.”

    >Frost replied, “That’s what I’ve seen.”

  3. Only up till birth. Once it’s out..? Jesus Bootstraps

  4. They howl like stuck pigs when confronted with the truth.

  5. Then intensify that narrative. If you are outraging these creeps you’re on the right path.

  6. Really? The things some people get upset about.

Every time someone uses simple verbs and nouns to describe what they do, they start foaming at the mouth.

  7. >“You are not going to come into this room and impugn our integrity,” said Foxx, adding, “We are pro-life people from conception to natural death…Don’t you dare come up in here and say we want to preserve life so we can get shot.”

“Natural” death. So Frost is right.

  8. That’s not fair at all. The GOP is also content to let kids die in the streets, starve to death, go into medical debt, work in coal mines, be  sex victims of pastors, priests and Republican politicians, so long as the perpetrator is part of the protected class of rich, white and Christian.

  9. He ain’t wrong. Republicans are not pro-life, they are pro-birth.

  10. Republican’s “pro-life” stance is about making sure the poor stay that way.

It’s class warfare, like everything else in politics.

  11. If you’re pre-born, you’re fine. If you’re preschool, you’re fucked.

  12. I challenge any Republican to tell me what’s incorrect about his statement.

Or is this more of a “It’s true, but he shouldn’t SAY it” situation?

  13. Questions no Republican will ask themselves, “Is he factually wrong, and do I want to know the answer to my own question?”

  14. This attitude is pervasive throughout Republican society, so deeply that it can be seen even in the death rate.

    https://www.kff.org/other/state-indicator/death-rate-per-100000/?currentTimeframe=0&sortModel=%7B%22colId%22:%22Location%22,%22sort%22:%22asc%22%7D

Republican run states consistently trend much worse, ~~killing~~ neglecting their poorest to death, than Democrat run strongholds like California (where Rs haven’t a chance in hell obstructing legislation.)

  15. Tired of these crybaby bitches constantly clutching their pearls. Respect to Frost for calling it like it is. Don’t let up.

We need to continue exposing the evil that is the Republican party.

  16. >Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren’t they? They’re all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you’re born, you’re on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don’t want to know about you. They don’t want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you’re preborn, you’re fine; if you’re preschool, you’re fucked.

  17. lol as if we haven’t been saying that online for years.

  18. “Sparks outrage.” 🙄

Republicans are outraged at everything except for the actual outrageous shit Trump does.

  19. They claim to be pro life yet just voted today to kick millions of kids off of Medicaid

  20. Truth hurts sometimes. Republicans don’t exactly have a leg to stand on when they made a big fuss about abortions and are currently trying to take food out of kids mouths, take away health care, and making everyone suffer.

  21. “your honor I object!”

    “On what grounds?”

    “It’s devastating to my argument!”

  22. I don’t see how that is even controversial. It’s just a statement of fact.

  23. Fuck their faux outrage. They blame mental health every time yet here they are cutting funds for mental health services.
