NHS East of England ambulances face ’20 hour delays’

  1. Colleague suffering suspected heart attack on site was told 1hr 45min wait last week in the North West, we thought that was bad…

  2. A few weeks ago I saw people on here arguing about whether or not Britain should be more involved in the Ukraine-Russian conflict and it was suggested (and strongly upvoted) that it would be too dangerous and would end in a nuclear holocaust.

Which, if true, is evidence that people don’t believe the “deterrent” of having nukes actually works. If it wouldn’t deter Russia from nuking us for getting involved then what would it deter?

Perhaps dismantling all the nuclear shite and putting the money that would’ve been used into things like NHS would be of more benefit to British people.

  3. The delays are bad but im always baffled by the people who would wait for hours rather than just get a cab or get a mate to take them.

You don’t HAVE to go by ambulance to hospital you know.

  4. Headline should read: Dim Brits fail to realise they live in a third world country. Surprised when they can’t get ambulances or feed school kids 😂

  5. I tried to call an ambulance in this region and was on hold for ten minutes before getting through to the 999 operator. The system is broken

  6. This has been normal for well over a year in Cornwall. My father was waiting in an ambulance over 12 hours after a heart attack.
