current door: Has a handle and a simple privacy lock inside. No real lock mechanism inside (no bolt that moves when a key is turned). Only has a latch — that movesy with the handle.
Now, I want to lock the door from outside with a key and lock the door from inside for privacy. I do not want to drill, modify, or install a new internal lock mechanism. My door look like in photos. Anyone has ideas what kind of lock I can buy?

Go to k-rauta / Bauhaus etc. You have a standard lock fitting and they’ll be able to help you find what you need.
The easiest way is to unscrew the current hardware and replace the internal mechanism. Looks like [a standard Abloy 2014 mechanism](https://www.k-rauta.fi/tuote/valioven-lukko-abloy-201400450068-messingin-varinen/6416471014318) would work.
Then all you need is to replace the thumb turn plates with [keyhole plates](https://www.k-rauta.fi/tuote/avainkilpi-fxa-kromi/6438313540649).
Can you actually change the lock if let’s say you’re renting?
