  2. I didn’t hate it. Parts I enjoyed. I did feel like they took the wrong inspirations from things like Columbo and Sherlock though.

  4. I enjoyed the season well enough, and would have welcomed additional stories, but the constant adulation of Cordelia nearly every single ep was obnoxious.

    “Oh she’s the smartest, bestest, most intelligent, yet quirky detective ever.” (Obviously I’m exaggerating, but you get my point).  Quite the opposite of show-not-tell.

    And the entire bird angle never seemed to really stick and felt random.

  5. It amazes me how quality stuff like this gets cancelled but Tyler Perry shit that he shoots in 4 days is the most watched on the platform.

  9. I liked this show a lot more than I would’ve thought. Sucks its been canceled but at least we had a complete series with an ending.

  14. That’s a bummer! I really enjoyed her character. I liked the backstory flashbacks a lot too. I thought there was a lot to work with in further building her character.
    I think Cordelia would be an awesome name for my next cat though. Such a pretty and unique name with lots of character.

  16. This is on brand for Netflix. Cancelling shows that are actually good and renewing shows that suck….im looking at you The Night Agent (season 2)

  17. I liked it but I also felt like it dragged on a bit. Like they needed to make it eight episodes but only had enough material for six, so they just stretched it out.

    Overall I thought it was good, though. I would have watched another season.

  25. Oh for flux sake! That was such a fun show for the whole family here. The kids got us into it (the kids are late teens early 20’s) and it was a really great time. Netflix missed it on this one.

  27. Fun show! But I imagine it’d be hard to capture the essence of season one. It felt they pulled out all the stops and probably struggling to create a season 2

  29. I don’t bother with Netflix shows anymore because they’re always cancelling the good ones.

  36. I’m fine with it being one and done. It was a lot of fun but I never thought of it as an ongoing series.

  37. I look back fondly on this show because it kept me company during the early newborn night feedings. Just the right mix of cozy, engaging and not convoluted.

  39. Why even bother getting invested in new Netflix shows if they’re just going to cancel them before they have a chance to really take off? I loved the first season . What a disappointment

  40. True Mormon housewives gets 23 seasons but good shows like this are canceled after one.
