A historic day unfolded at the Seminara Monastery in Southern Italy as Archbishop George of Cyprus, accompanied by Cypriot pilgrims, visited the sacred site during their pilgrimage.
In a solemn ceremony, the Archbishop signed the Holy Gospel with purple ink, a distinguished privilege granted by Emperor Justinian to the Primate of the Church of Cyprus.
Before departing, Archbishop George took the opportunity to bless the Orthodox faithful of Calabria, extending his spiritual care beyond the monastery walls.
