Of course it is. No one is testing anymore and even if you do have it then it”s carry on as normal.
Everyone in my house tested positive today.
If we didn’t happen to have lateral flow tests kicking about we’d have had no way of knowing. My local pharmacy and the Boots pharmacy both didn’t have any LFs for sale.
You could also argue that the symptoms are so mild as to be confused with a cold, which is also valid and a good thing, but as far as an accurate reading of covid infection leveled all free testing (both LF and PCR) has stopped.
Case numbers are going to fall due to lack of available testing.
I’m part of the ONS study – I get tested by them every month and have done for the last couple of years at least.
