    Insufficient capacity on the West Coast Main Line for additional trains to run. This is why HS2 is necessary.

  2. Now do you all understand how HS2 benefits Wales? Freeing up capacity on the WCML gives Wales more capacity and above all, opportunity.

    Stop playing politics.

  3. There was a direct train from Wrexham to London for a while about fifteen years ago – if I remember right it used the Chiltern Railways line rather than the west coast mainline – I think they didn’t get enough custom though as it wasn’t as fast as going via Chester

  4. Give us a fuckin train to cardiff or some easier way to get there!

  5. Good. All people do is complain about tourists and second home owners. This will shut them up. Right?
