Orhei-Vit, a Moldovan fruit and vegetable processor, will begin producing natural juice for a major international brand starting this autumn.

The announcement was made during the company’s 80th anniversary, which was marked by a visit from Prime Minister Dorin Recean. Orhei-Vit operates three facilities in Orhei, Briceni, and Căușeni, with its agricultural division and over 1,000 employees.

The company produces more than 200 types of juices, nectars, fruit-vegetable purées, and canned goods. About 80% of its products are exported to 38 countries, with key clients in Romania, Germany, and Ukraine.

Orhei-Vit recently invested 1 million euros in plant upgrades, including a new water treatment system, modern equipment, and energy-saving technologies. These improvements helped reduce electricity costs by 30%.

The company processes up to 100 million kilograms of raw materials per season and produces around 13 million litres of juice annually.

According to the management, the new contract with a global industry player marks a strategic step in strengthening Moldova’s presence on international markets.
