  11. I have family who are healthcare workers who work in rural areas with an aging and/or lower income population. You can guess who most of them voted for. I’m waiting for how long it will take for one of them to actually admit that maybe, just maybe, they made a mistake.

  16. I have a grandfather who’s a big Trump supporter who’s on medicaire living in a nursing home until he is depleted of his proceeds from house sale, from which medicaid takes over. He’s going to sadly get the rude awakening that he voted for but probably blame Biden.

    I’m on medicaid also so this bill sucks.

  40. I have lupus, and I just started cancer treatments 3 weeks ago. We can’t get me into an actual oncologist who knows my disease. I have doctors horking out giant medical tomes whole we make phone calls and wait for referrals to go through. Forgrt getting a fucking rheumatologist, lol. I’m on Medicare and in Texas. The ICE budget makes me feel sicker than the chemo does, almost as sick as the thought of me having to leave my kids alone in this world. It’s what they want, though. My hateful boomer mom accused me of using my diagnosis to manipulate her into helping me financially because being sick makes you poor and costs you everything you spent 25 years building up. Like what the fuck? I don’t want to die and leave my awesome kids or my awesome cats and my awesome home. I just got here 5 years ago! The only years of my life we have been free of violence and being terrorized daily by the people we lived with. Moreover, I don’t want to pay to kidnap our own people!

    These people are evil as hell and while I know Trump will be unscathed, I *do* hope the Millers, Thiels, Karps, Voughts, Leavitts, Bondis, DeSantis’ and Johnsons and everyone who ever enabled Fox News and MAGA and the Tea Party and all of the Bushs out there get every horror they have wrought upon their fellow humans 100 fold.   44. People don’t seem to understand that Medicaid and the ACA are gone. In 2024, the Medicaid budget was 900 billion. They just cut 880 billion. They want people to die. Just like the first round of detainees to Alligator Alcatraz. They put people on an island in the swamp in alligator infested waters during hurricane season. FEMA, NWS and NOAA have, for all intents and purposes been dissolved. Every accusation is a confession. Republicans said the ACA would bring in death panels. Now, Senator Ernst says, we all have to die to which McConnell says don’t worry. They’ll get over it.

  45. Donald Trump and his cruel big beautiful budget. I am a 60 year-old woman who was born with muscular dystrophy and have been taken care of all my life by the most caring and kind and wonderful mother that a girl could ever have. We are both living a horrible nightmare now because my mother has taken a severe fall that has left her probably totally in a wheelchair now. We like to joke now that we are the two disabled daughter and mother duo, we both have very dark humor especially and times of trouble in our lives. I am on Medicaid Medicare my mother is only on Medicare, now we both need so much in our lives to hopefully keep us alive for each other and maybe eventually go into a home together. My mother had a job in a healthcare company that let her take care of me for pay instead of sticking me somewhere while she was at another job to worry about., it kept me from going into a nursing home also which she desperately never wanted to see me in. We never saved much money and lived paycheck to paycheck and we were so very happy until this tragedy hit us. Now I have to sit there and FaceTime her and watch her eat dinner and watch the worry on her face for me. Myself I have been able to get nurses aid to come because I’m on Medicare and Medicaid I can have that and I’m also going to go on food stamps which is a first ever for myself, and now that orange motherfucker is going to take that away from people that need this. The cruelty of what he and his fellow republicans are doing it is going to affect so many people that needs services like this it’s just unbelievable and I have been crying since my mother’s tragedy and crying every time I see these cruel republicans clap and pat him in the back for what he is doing. I am just devastated and I can’t believe our country has become such a dictatorship now. I am just at a loss for words at this things I see in here these republicans spew. I am a Chicago native and moved to North Carolina 26 years ago and I am just in all of how people here in my little town Love Donald Trump and think what he’s doing with his bullshit budget is the right thing to do. I am being taken care of by two very lovely women except for one flaw, they love Trump. Something has got to change here I don’t know if it could be a Democrat or maybe a kinder Republican that is going to have to beat Donald Trump and his dynasty that he wants to have takeover. I’m not very good with words but I know I am feeling so hopeless and such grief for what my mother is going through and for my country and how Donald Trump is hurting so many. Forgive me any of my typos I am typing with my voice because I cannot even use my hands so good I just felt I had to say something because my grief is so much right now.
