It’s crazy how they bankrupted their country once by competing in an arms race, then that country failed, then a bunch of oligarchs took over the new country and extracted as much wealth as possible, then that new country started a war they can’t afford, which piled on a bunch of sanctions, which cut the inflow of cash into the new country, and now that new country is once again spending more money than it has building arms, just like the old country that failed.
They were struggling before they started incurring losses in a fruitless invasion campaign
Russia need not worry, soon they will be supplied by USA tariff free. Most likely they already have the plans to all us military hardware so they have a list of all the part numbers they need to build them. Russia will be able to supply the us and trump can collect a tariff on all the sales
