Air Texture’s ongoing Place series shines a light on Ireland in its latest instalment.

The series aims to platform different electronic music communities around the globe, and the latest edition settles on our friends in Ireland.

Creative communities on both sides of the border are thriving right now, and it’s something Clash has enjoyed covering over the past few years.

Efa O’Neill chairs the new 21-track compilation, a figure who work as an artist and broadcaster makes her an influential voice within Irish electronic music.

It’s an excellent listen, touching on multiple styles while held together with a clear sense of purpose.

Efa promises “a diverse yet cohesive snapshot of the electronic soundscape across Ireland” in the accompanying text; “The result is a diverse yet cohesive snapshot of the electronic soundscape across Ireland – featuring voices from beyond the capital, reaching into all corners of the country.”

Proceeds from the release will support BirdWatch Ireland’s Marine Conservation efforts.
