  1. You have to be literally insane! 110% mental! I think anyone from any background if they’re deemed safe from a professional which hasn’t got any conflicts of interest! … The sin that the Conservatives lie about less taxes – these people are not talking about the plebs! They’re talking about their friends! When they’re talking into the camera they don’t have your life in mind they have theirs! Rich selfs (family), Rich friends, Rich Partners……..Literally if someone said “Kill 150-200 People” these people would gladly!

  2. It’s completely inappropriate for the family of the second most important person in the UK government to enjoy a very substantial tax break on the basis that they don’t consider the UK to be their permanent home, and it’s really inappropriate to attribute this to racism. It’s also quite incorrect. I remember this rule being introduced in the first place. There were serious complaints about it then and have been ever since, and if there was any stereotype it was probably of a cigar smoking white middle aged American. There’s plenty of racism in the UK but this isn’t it.

  3. Btw:

Disclosure: Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy is among the distinguished founder-investors of ThePrint.

Also the issue isn’t race as other non-doms have been criticised. For example: [lords who claimed it](https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/how-many-non-dom-peers) or [business non-doms](https://www.reuters.com/article/britain-tax-gap-idINL3N0YA3LN20150522)

I mean it was part of the 2015 general election, where: [George Osbourne, the then chancellor announced its abolition](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jul/08/non-dom-tax-status-abolished-individuals-born-uk-budget-george-osborne) and was [was also proposed to be abolished by Labour](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/apr/07/ed-miliband-non-dom-tax-status-labour)
