Poor Britain is so confused. Slipping away before our eyes.
Imagine not knowing the difference between protesters (who can still be charged as criminals if they damage property or use violence) and terrorists?
Ahh yes.. by labeling them as Terrorist now there is no redline for the protestor, they will just go full anarchy now and wouldnt hold back.
Instead of fixing the root cause of the protest they decide to labeling them as a terrorist bahahahaha, wouldnt that make the action go underground, unnoticed and risking foreign interfering.
These people are way ahead huh.. im looking forward to it.
I’m sure this will show those naughty anti-genocide people who think it’s acceptable to attempt to pressure the government into rescinding support for digitalised high-explosive child murder.
But they’ll welcome British IDF soldiers back home with open arms after they come back from their pilgrimage of killing children and stealing land. Priorities🤷♂️
>MPs have voted to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation despite concerns that the move could risk criminalising legitimate protest.
God, it’s both depressing and embarrassing being British right now
So what’s stopping parliament from designating anyone they don’t like as a terrorist group, exactly? Because clearly there are no parameters that involve actual terrorism.
Has anyone asked Stamer why this is different to the group he defended in 2003 over the same thing? Would love to see how he weasels his way out of blatant hypocrisy like that.
Legally speaking, this means I can’t give my opinion on Palestine Action any more 🙂
That said, this is the expected outcome. Even if you’re hypothetically completely correct and justified, the state isn’t going to let you get away with damaging military hardware.
So, splashing paint on a war machine is “terrorism”, while using a 500lb bomb to blow up a cafe full of civilians is “self defense”. That’s where we’re at now? Just so we’re clear.
I mean, if you don’t want the government to ban you as a terrorist organization, you really really really shouldn’t attack their national security infrastructure.
Government will put up with a lot, but they really get pissed about that
One shouldn’t be surprised the state declares them a terrorist organization after they intentionally try to damage military assets critical to national security.
The state has accepted a lot of pro-Palestinian protests, as they absolutely should. But trying to damage critical military assets definitely crosses a very major line.
This types of shit will one of two ways:
1 – If you are going to labeled as terrorist for spray paint perhaps you should go all the way and start blowing stuff up.
2- People will cower and stop resisting injustice that the government approved.
I know what the government are aiming at, but world to the wise people on the west, that is what the government in the middle east has being doing for decades, and see what the region look like now.
Guys we shouldn’t shit on Starmer for this, y’all don’t see his master plan of making the left politicians more popular and politically powerful by ensuring that progressive voters leave the Labour for politicians like Corbyn
Why would heavy dense smoke coming off the roof of a machinery factory cause any panic?
We gave everyone a day off, said the children, they should join our cause. They should forget about their daily struggles and come with us to smoke bomb another factory.
Yeah don’t break into military installations and sabotage equipment. You can argue whether or not terrorism is the right label for it but regardless you’re going to have the book thrown at you and your organization if you mess with military aircraft.
Good , they do nothing to help the Palestinians but virtue signal (all while making it about them) and vandalize costing tax payer money and they even managed to damage equipment going to Ukraine.
This is being represented as proscribing anyone protesting for Palestine as terrorist, but actually they are just talking about one small group who carried out a terrorist attack.
