Awfully sad. Every young person I know who’s been diagnosed with cancer has been, like Ciara, leading a very healthy lifestyle (cross country athletes, vegan, etc) I wish we knew what was causing the uptick in younger people.

Cancer is obviously awful regardless, but it seems particularly terrifying when someone who has clearly done everything right (diet, exercise, sleep, avoiding booze/cigs/coke) gets it, especially at a young age.

I’ve had leukaemia at the age of 27 so I understand her shock probably. We are “too young” for cancer or in a weird middle ground.
I hope the cancer she has is treatable and she minds herself. She’ll be running again in no time 🤞
Ah ffs, jesus, only got engaged the start of this year too, should be happy out and planning her big bay.
Hopefully her youth and fitness will be on her side.
