I wanted to make a 4th of July message, but then saw this comment left from a donor. This nailed it. Americans didn’t become free fighting by themselves. Ukraine needs our help now more than ever.

  1. This is a beautiful comment left by a kind donor who contributed to this fund: [https://givebutter.com/sock_it_russia](https://givebutter.com/sock_it_russia)

This is the joint fund between Ukraine Frontline and Protect a Volunteer. Donations are routed to UFL which is a 501c3 organization and all aid purchased is humanitarian (clothing, hygiene and cleaning supplies, food, help for the injured, home appliances, etc.) Nothing is military aid but the military does need it. Almost all purchases are made in Ukraine by PAV, fueling the Ukrainian economy as well as the military.

It’s a challenging time to be an American who supports Ukraine and cares about freedom and democracy. The message from this donor is a reminder that we cannot let Ukraine be in this alone and it takes everyone, all together. We may not agree with the actions of our government but that does not mean we cannot do what is within our own control.

  2. I really, really like this message. Kudos to the person who wrote it and backed up their words with a donation to Ukraine.

  3. WWII we repaid them in spades. I’m a firm believer it was one of the greatest friendly paybacks in all of history. They bled for us, we bled for them. It’s unfortunate that tyrants who cultivate misery on the masses are always the last to bleed.

  4. An American we can love.

Such a shame the Orange Turd and his mob aren’t thinking like this.

  5. As a Brit, I want to say happy 4th to my American cousins. I also want to say I’m a journalist based in Ukraine, and we need your fighting spirit, your desire to conquer fascism. now more than ever, compadres.
